The Fuzzy Duck was sensitively refurbished by the family behind Baylis & Harding. The pub has retained many distinctive characterful features including exposed beams, flagstone floors and magnificent fireplaces which seamlessly blend with contemporary touches.
Their seasonal menus are innovative, but not too clever. Guests can enjoy a pub classic such as fish and chips with a pint or alternatively they can choose an elegant champagne supper. Their dishes are created from the finest local ingredients and there are interesting choices too for guests with dietary requirements.
Outside, their pub garden is the perfect spot for leisurely lunches and drinks, whilst the beautifully landscaped courtyard garden offers a sophisticated area to drink or dine.
Each of their five beautifully decorated bedrooms comes with a Smart TV, Baylis & Harding toiletries, a Nespresso coffee machine and WiFi access.
Two of their bedrooms can accommodate a family and dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub. One of their bedrooms has two bunk beds and is the least expensive to book.
The Fuzzy Duck is the perfect country retreat and an ideal base from which to explore Shakespeare’s haunts and the rolling hills and river valleys of the Cotswolds.
Armscote is around nine miles south of historic Stratford-upon-Avon.
