The Fox serves delicious seasonal menus which make the most of the wonderful produce found on their doorstep. There are a good mix of pub classics, more adventurous dishes, as well as a delicious bar snack menu for those who want to enjoy something lighter. They also cater well for guests with dietary requirements, and there are good options for children too.
The recently refurbished bar and snug has a roaring log burner, traditional Cotswolds stone floors and lots of cosy seating. The bar serves a wonderfully eclectic range of drinks including real ales from their own local Donnnington Brewery, craft beers, stouts, lagers, local gins, a carefully considered wine list, speciality cocktails and soft drinks.
Outside their gardens overlook the river and breathtaking countryside, and are ther perfect spot from which to enjoy drinks in the sunshine.
Their seven cosy double en-suite bedrooms come with bundles of Cotswold charm and character, comfy beds, fluffy towels, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and Wifi access. Certain rooms can be set up as twins on request.
Historic Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon can both be reached in about 45 minutes by car.
