Step inside this traditional 17th century Grade II-listed former coaching inn, and you will find ancients doorways, cosy corners, open log fires, lenticular artwork, and a light-filled formal dining room.
Their delicious menus are created from the finest seasonal produce from their own Birch Farm, including rare-breed and heritage meats, and just-harvested fruit and vegetables.
The Farmers Arms menus are unapologetically British, and feature reimagined pub classics, the finest local seafood, and a brilliant Sunday lunch comprising of a compilation of dishes served family style.
The bar is well-stocked with locally brewed ales and beers, unusual wines chosen for their food-pairing potential, homemade cordials, seasonal cocktails, and soft drinks.
Their outdoor space is planted with herbs and flowers, and has rustic tables, and a covered seating area with heated stone benches.
The Collective at Woolsery has a beautiful collection of bedrooms, suites, and cottages.
There are two bedrooms and two suites above the village shop, situated just over the road from the pub. These rooms come with super king-size beds, a sitting area, bath with rainfall shower and separate free-standing tub, underfloor heating, Rako lighting system, Sonos speakers, fully stocked minibar, and Land & Water toiletries.
There are also three cottages in the village. Hillside is a three/four bedroom modern-English country cottage with a spacious garden, Rosehill is a contemporary two-bedroom cottage, and The Old Smithy is a one-bedroom cottage steeped in history.
Rosehill and Old Smithy have their own gates which lead straight into the pub garden from their patios.
Rosehill and Hillside are both family friendly.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement for a nominal nightly surcharge in all of their cottages.
There is a two-night minimum stay in their cottages on Friday and Saturday nights.
Breakfast follows their food ethos, and features house made sausages, farm eggs, homemade yoghurt, and a to die for whiskey porridge. Guests request their breakfast requirements the night before and a basket is delivered to your room the following morning.
There is plenty of off road parking in the centre of the village and EV charging points can be found in nearby Bideford.
The picture-postcard village of Woolfardisworthy (pronounced Woolsery), sits five miles north of the market town of Crediton.
