The pub serves an extensive choice of seasonal dishes which can be enjoyed in both the bar and restaurant. Their menus are created from the finest West Country ingredients, there are interesting choices for guests with dietary requirements, and their Sunday roast is extremely popular.
Outside, there are tables overlooking the river which are the perfect spot from which to enjoy al fresco drinks or a Devon cream tea with homemade jam and clotted cream in the sunshine.
The cosy bar has a relaxed and friendly feel with a roaring log fire lit whenever there is a hint of chill. They serve an eclectic range of malts, artisan spirits, fine wines, beers, and real ales.
Their 28 bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comprise of single, double, double/twin, and superior rooms. Each en-suite bedroom comes with comfortable beds, fresh linen, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, a TV, and WiFi access.
Dogs are welcome on request with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub for a nominal additional nightly fee.
There is ample parking for overnight guests, and they serve a delicious breakfast.
The local area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts, and guests can reach the coast in about twenty minutes by car.
