Their menus are created from the very best ingredients from the south west and include delicious starters, sharing plates, pub classics, refined dishes, steaks, sides, sandwiches and yummy puddings. Their Sunday roasts are very popular, they serve daily specials and there are good choices too for children and guests with dietary requirements.
The friendly and inviting bar is well stocked with Wadworth ales and they offer both classics as well as rotating special editions. They also serve an eclectic range of lagers, ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
Outside, there is a terraced beer garden, which is the perfect spot from which to enjoy your favourite drink in the sunshine on warm summer days. The view from their south facing garden is idyllic and is a haven for wildlife.
Nine of their bedrooms are located in the main building, with a further five housed in the cottage in the grounds. Each double or twin en-suite bedroom comes with comfortable beds, fresh towels, complimentary toiletries, a TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, a hairdryer and WiFi access.
Whilst their bedrooms are not dog friendly, the pub itself welcomes well behaved dogs. There are also options for guests who require an accessible room, and there is ample parking for guests.
