Barnes has an almost village-like atmosphere, with independent shops, green spaces and Thames-side walks nearby, yet Hammersmith Underground station is around a 10–15-minute walk across the bridge, providing Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly line connections.

Their Sunday roast is particularly popular and the pub always recommends that you book in advance, whether you are joining them for lunch or dinner through the week or a family style feast on the weekend.
