Their new dining area has been lovingly restored from the listed barn, and designed with an oak panelled, high vaulted ceiling that is awash with natural light, making it the perfect setting from which to enjoy their delicious food. Outside you will find a tree lined sandstone dining patio to the front, and a cosy south facing beer garden to the rear.
Their award winning food mixes contemporary and traditional dishes perfectly. There is a classic pub and lunchtime sandwich menu, a refined evening menu, a specials board, and they also cater well for guests with dietary requirements.
The bar is a very relaxed with open fires, leather sofas, wooden floorboards and lots of cosy corners. They serve a wonderful selection of local real ales, beers, ciders and an eclectic wine list.
They have five super king double en-suite bedrooms, that can also be set up as twins. Each ground floor room comes with super comfortable beds, fresh towels & linen, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi access.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement, and one of their bedrooms is accessible with a walk in wet room shower. There is also plenty of parking for guests.
The Black Bull is situated eight miles south east of Cambridge, seven miles south of Newmarket and six miles west of Haverhill.
