Previously named The Spinnaker, The Birdham use the very best local, seasonal produce to create a delicious dining experience.
Their menu features light bites, sandwiches & flatbreads, pub classics, steaks & burgers, sides, and yummy puddings. They serve a cracking Sunday roast, and there are also good options for vegans and children.
Their bar is well-stocked with draught and bottled beers, cask ales, ciders, artisan spirits, an eclectic wine list, and interesting soft drink choices.
The Birdham has 14 en-suite bedrooms, comprising four family rooms, two twins, six doubles, and two double/twin rooms. Each room has comfortable beds, complimentary toiletries, premium towels & linen, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and WiFi access.
Breakfast is a real treat and includes full English, healthy options such as fruit salad or smoked salmon, omelettes, and freshly baked croissants.
There is ample parking for guests staying the night.
Bembridge has in the recent past been awarded the accolade of the “Village of the Year” by BBC Countryfile Magazine.
They wrote “Bembridge is a wonderful coastal setting with a pier and lifeboat station, a busy village community with independent shops, cafés and restaurants. With three great beaches and the white cliffs of Culver Down on the doorstep, the village is a perfect base for exploring”.
The Birdham is just a short ferry journey from mainland England, about eight miles from Portsmouth, and 20 miles from Southampton.
