Step inside The Bell at Sapperton and you will find charm and character in abundance, flagstone floors, cosy dining areas, exposed stone walls, and open log fires. The pub has a secluded courtyard, garden dining room, bar and pizza oven to the rear and a landscaped front garden, which is the perfect spot from which to enjoy alfresco drinking and dining.
The Bell offers great but relaxed hospitality, and consistently delicious pub food, locally sourced and which reflects the seasons. For wine enthusiasts, their “Wine Wall” in the bar area, is a self-serve wine shop full of dozens of carefully selected wines to take away or drink at the pub.
Their beautifully decorated suites have contemporary bathrooms and have been designed with travellers and ‘staycationers’ in mind.
Each suite has a mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and storage, allowing you to be self-contained and independent for breakfasts and other meals. A cooked breakfast is served daily for guests who do not want to use the self-catering facilities.
One suite has two bedrooms and is perfect for families or four adults, and dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
There is parking for overnight guests.
The village of Sapperton has a strong connection with the Cotswold arts and crafts movement.
