Their delicious, seasonal food is inspired by the wonderful, local ingredients on their doorstep and includes good choices for those guests with dietary requirements. Their passionate kitchen team regularly create new dishes, which includes many pub classics and for those guests with a sweet tooth, there is also a tempting selection of puddings to choose from.
The friendly and welcoming bar serves a great selection of real Surrey ales, local and international wines and bubbles, an enviable gin list and their award winning Bloody Marys.
Their panoramic garden is the perfect spot from which to enjoy your drinks when the sun is shining. There is also a play area for children, garden boules and a view of the llamas in the neighbouring paddock.
The Merry Harriers have three accommodation options to choose from;
Four Inn Rooms (Images 3 & 4) : These bedrooms have bundles of charm and character, with views of the countryside and gardens. Six Garden Rooms (Images 5 to 8) : These rooms are situated to the rear of the pub, set within a private pathway adjacent to the garden. Each room comprises of an en-suite bathroom, luxurious towelling robes & toiletries, a double bed, llama hot water bottles, a desk area, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi access and a complimentary basket of nibbles. They also boast a patio area, with two chairs and a table. The Garden rooms are dog friendly.
Five Shepherd Huts (Images 9 to 12) : They come with a double bed, underfloor heating, log burner, Netflix enabled Smart TV, Nespresso machine and a cosy seating area with games. There is also a kitchen with a complimentary bottle a local wine, fresh milk and tasty nibbles. The bathrooms have luxurious walk in rain showers, complimentary toiletries and soft towelling bathrobes, whilst outside there is a firepit and teak sunloungers. The Shepherd Huts are dog friendly.
Their herd of llamas reside in the paddocks just behind the pub. Trekking options include their English Picnic, Winter Morning and Summer Evening treks, with the llamas carrying the picnic hampers and guiding you along the stunning local trails of The Greensand Way.
Hambledon is situated in the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, about three miles from the historic market town of Godalming. Guildford, the historic and vibrant county town of Surrey is around a 45 minute drive away, and you can reach London in about an hour.
