Outside, their terrace and gardens are the picture-perfect place from which to enjoy sociable drinking in the sunshine or idle the afternoon away with a game of Pétanque.
Fleur de Lys has nine bespoke boudoirs, each of which comes with outrageously comfy Hypnos mattresses, vintage, reclaimed furniture, bold wallpaper, and luxurious French body and bath toiletries.
There are a variety of styles for every taste and budget from a small single room, perfect for a solo traveller, to a deluxe double with a freestanding bathtub. One room named Bonaparte is dog friendly, and a two-bedroom suite named Artiste is suitable for families.
Breakfast is a real treat and includes delicious choices such as a full English, freshly baked croissants, toasted muffins, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, waffles, or granola with yoghurt.
