The Crown is your home from home during your stay at the Wild Thyme & Honey: your breakfast room, snug living room, cocktail bar and dinner table.
Their delicious farm-to-table menus are seasonal and inspired by the great Cotswold countryside. At the centre of the pub is their open copper kitchen, where chefs cook dishes such as Old Gloucester Tomahawks, sharing ribeyes, classic prawn cocktails and crème brulées.
Their bar is well-stocked with great wines by the glass and expertly crafted cocktails. Outside, there are a multitude of seating options including their al fresco globes which are situated alongside the river.
If you have forgotten your wellies, they have plenty of Hunters you can borrow, as well as Wild Thyme & Honey umbrellas for any unexpected wet weather.
The 24 New York, loft-style bedrooms at the Wild Thyme & Honey are beautifully decorated and come with exposed Cotswolds stone, natural wood floors and woolly textures. There are many room options including doubles, deluxe doubles, accessible queen rooms, king rooms and suites.
Each luxurious en-suite room comes with a seriously good shower, (a freestanding bath in their suites), a TV, complimentary Wild Thyme & Honey hot water bottle, Nespresso machine, Decanter of sloe gin on arrival and handy storage.
They have a small number of special dog friendly rooms which can be booked with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
Ampney Crucis is a panoramic village just west of Cirencester, with a history dating back to Roman times.
