They have a skilled and passionate kitchen team whose passion is to create delicious dishes which include popular favourites to gourmet plates. Their ingredients are locally sourced and their menus are geared towards seasonality, with each dish prepared to order. They have 8 supremely comfortable bedrooms, with a mix of superior doubles, king beds, standard doubles and a family room situated on two floors. All rooms have modern en-suite facilities and come with a whole host of little luxuries including crisp, fresh cotton linen, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities and WiFi access. Breakfast is included in most room rates and they are also have 3 dog friendly bedrooms for an additional nightly surcharge of £20 per single dog only.
The Greyhound Hotel was originally built in 1778 to service the needs of the Cromford Mill village and the meeting place for Sir Richard Arkwright’s business colleagues. Sitting at the centre of the market place it had pride of place as a coaching and posting house through the centuries, the place of celebration, auctions, hearings, wakes… you name it, it has probably happened at this historic building.
