Recently awarded five stars by Visit England, The White Horse Inn is a Grade 11 listed, 18th century pub with oodles of character and charm.
Their restaurant service is attentive but discreet, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and their menus are thoughtful, showcasing the best seasonal Sussex produce. Their menus feature refined pub classics, seasonal specials, a cracking Sunday roast, good choices for vegans and vegetarians, sides, delicious desserts and cheeses.
Their charismatic bar has two open fires, and serves an extensive range of real ales, ciders, beers, wines and artisan spirits.
Dogs, families, walkers, cyclists and horse riders are all most welcome, and outside their garden terrace is the perfect spot from which to enjoy drinks and delicious food in the sunshine.
The White Horse has eight beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms, five located in the pub, and a further three in the elevated garden. Each room is named in honour of racehorses, inspired by the owner’s passion for horse racing and their proximity to Goodwood Racecourse.
Their rooms come with beds handcrafted in Devon, the finest bed linen, en-suite bathrooms with heated limestone floors, fog-free mirrors, complimentary toiletries, thoughtful lighting, ample plugs, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi access. A full English breakfast is served daily.
Two rooms (Sea The Stars and Dubawi) are interconnecting to provide flexible family accommodation, and their three Garden rooms are also dog friendly and can be booked with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
They are located about two miles from the South Downs Way, seven miles from Arundel and ten miles from the Goodwood Estate.
