Leighton Buzzard is an historic market town in Bedfordshire, dating back as far as 1086. The pub is situated on High Street in Leighton Buzzard, which still has a street market on a Tuesday and Saturday. High Street itself is full of interesting buildings and has lots of additional mews, with some great independent, unusual shops. All Saints church is at the end of High Street.
This pub is only 15 miles from central Milton Keynes, and Leighton Buzzard is on the direct train line to London. The Grand Union Canal passes through Leighton Buzzard, providing some excellent scenery. They are also close to Rushmere Park – a beautiful 210-acre country park at the northern edge of Leighton Buzzard, with lakes, ancient woodlands, conifer plantations, meadows and heath.
