This charismatic pub has recently been renovated, and perfectly blends historic features such as their original fireplace and bread oven dating from 1450, with contemporary touches.
They serve an interesting selection of local artisan gins, continental lagers, fine wines, beers, ciders and hand pulled real ales.
The Swan have a real passion for sourcing the very best, local and seasonal produce which is reflected in their exceptional menus, which include a number of pub classics along with more refined dishes. Both the freshest fish and seasonal meat feature in abundance, their Sunday lunch is hugely popular and they cater well for children too.
There are three comfortable bedrooms to choose from, comprising of two doubles and a twin and located on the top floor. Each bedroom has bundles of quirky character and come with en-suite bathrooms, WiFi access, complimentary toiletries and tea & coffee making facilities. For breakfast, they serve a scrummy, full English made with fresh, local produce and a selection of cereals and lighter options.
The panoramic local area is well know for it’s fishing, and is very popular with ramblers and cyclists. The beautiful beaches of north and south Devon are around a 40 minute drive away.
