This fantastic pub offers an excellent range of traditional cask ales, beers, lagers, wines and spirits along with an expansive gin list. The Shakespeare serve delicious homemade, locally sourced food every lunchtime and evening.
They have five supremely comfortable en-suite bedrooms which are located in their converted cottages at the rear of the building. Each bedroom comes with crisp, fresh linen, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, Sky TV and free WiFi. A delicious full cooked breakfast is available to order and their are also vegan and vegetarian options together with a wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Dogs are welcome in the pub, but not for an overnight stay in their bedrooms.
The Shakespeare is situated to the south of the Lake District, six miles from junction 36 of the M6 motorway and only a few miles from the sea, Kendal is especially well placed to cater for everyone’s holiday needs. Kendal is only around 9 miles from Windermere and around 30 miles from Keswick.
