We are open throughout the year and provide a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, personal attention and high standards of comfort and cuisine as well as award winning traditional cask ales.
We are family friendly, dog friendly and walker and cyclist friendly. Children, muddy boots and well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar areas and welcome to stay.
Here at the Saracens Head we serve the traditional pub classics of fish and chips, sausage and mash, steak and ale pie not forgetting our very popular steaks. Lighter meals are also available along with a soup and sandwich deal at lunchtimes. We have a regularly changing Specials Board and children are more than welcome.
We have a great range of award-winning traditional cask ales alongside a selection of lagers and beers. Why not try a pint of Faithful Gelert, a cask ale you will only find here at the Saracens and named after the faithful hound that has made Beddgelert famous. Our carefully chosen wine list offers you both value and quality, with a number of popular wines available by the glass as well as by the bottle.
The Saracens Head offers 11 luxuriously refurbished rooms, the perfect base to stay the night and enjoy the stunning surroundings of Snowdonia.
All our rooms are en-suite, tastefully decorated to reflect the surrounding Snowdonia countryside, and all provide a comfortable seating area. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with flat screen TV, hairdryer, iron and complimentary toiletries.
We are very dog friendly and allow dogs to stay in our four Superior rooms at no extra charge, maximum of 2 dogs per room.
