The Queens has an open plan feel with distinct areas that merge nicely together. The main bar has an oak floor and beamed ceilings which give a cosy atmosphere and down a couple of steps you will find the beautiful, vaulted roof restaurant.
Their menu is full of quality, homemade pub food which includes seasonal influences and their Sunday roasts are very popular. The “Local Food Heroes” blackboard details where they source their beer and wine and they usually offer four real ales all brewed locally.
Their accommodation can be booked on a nightly basis during the week but on Fridays and Saturdays there is a minimum two night stay.
Lower Cottage is a double, open plan apartment with a separate bathroom with high quality fittings, a kitchenette, a table and chairs, sofa area with a TV and a king size bed. Upper Cottage has its own entrance to the side with stairs that lead to a double, open plan apartment with facilities similar to that of Lower Cottage.
The Stable can sleep up to four people with a double bed and two single beds. The two single beds are on an open plan mezzanine level which is accessed up a loft ladder. The bathroom in The Stable has a roll top bath with shower above and a window overlooking a secret courtyard area.
