The Queen’s Arms has three dining areas, a large outdoor terrace, and two private outside dining areas. Dining is relaxed and informal, and guests can enjoy seasonally inspired pub classics, refined dishes, indulgent desserts, a selection of English cheese, and interesting choices for those with dietary requirements.
The bar is well-stocked with local beers and ciders brewed in Corton Denham. Lawrence’s Cider can be found at the end of the village and the microbrewery, Apex Beer, is located in the house behind the pub. There is also an eclectic choice of wines from around the world, a cocktail list, and homemade seasonal lemonades, and ginger cordial.
The pub has five bedrooms above the pub, three dog friendly Coach House bedrooms (situated across the terrace from the pub), and a dog friendly, two-bedroom cottage with glorious garden views. Each beautifully designed room comes with thoughtful extras such as British made toiletries, hairdryers and straighteners, hooks for clothes, and tea and coffee trays.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement, for an additional nominal surcharge, directly with the pub in the Coach House rooms and cottage.
A continental breakfast is served daily and there is parking for overnight guests.
This multi award-winning pub is within proximity of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, about a 45-minute drive away across the rolling Dorset Downs.
