The food served is traditional, wholesome British and Continental cuisine, with a fresh and modern approach. Dating back 200 years the old part of the bar with its beamed ceilings and traditional furnishings offers a warm cosy feel. The snug area offers cosy semi-private dining for up to 12 people and the conservatory is a tastefully built original Ashbourne stone flagged area, which doubles as the breakfast room. Their courtyard is ideal for outside dining and drinking, along with the largest beer garden in Bakewell for those lazy Summer days.

Each room is quite distinctive with exposed beams and stonework, whilst the 200 year old stable conversion building itself has many charming nooks and crannies. Centrally positioned in the Peak District, the Peacock Bakewell is a perfect base for visiting many local Derbyshire attractions. There is free on site parking, which is limited and on a first come first served basis. (cannot be reserved) There is ample restricted parking available opposite the pub.
