This welcoming pub is run by a team who are passionate about creating a home from home environment for both locals and visitors. There’s a vibrant atmosphere whatever the night; the games room is home to a pool table, darts board and juke box and there’s usually a few people keen to take on your skills should you want to pick up a cue or a dart. Saturday night is entertainment night so be prepared to be swept up in the fun of live music, charity race nights or karaoke.
Serving a great range of cask ales, beers, wines and spirits, the bar area is welcome to all, whether you have four legs or two. In the warmer months, there’s a spacious beer garden complete with heaters allowing visitors to enjoy the long evenings in comfort.
Food served at the Oddfellow Arms is home cooked with lots of pub favourites such as pies, succulent roasts and an excellent selection of burgers and steaks featuring on the menu. For those looking for a lighter bite, there are also plenty of sandwiches on offer, all served with a fresh salad and homemade chips. Children are very welcome here and the kids’ menu is guaranteed to put a smile on any small face.
The six guest rooms all come with a shower room, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The rooms are in a separate building, with the self contained accommodation providing guests an undisturbed night’s sleep.
