The Maytime Inn benefits from a casually elegant restaurant that celebrates the seasons, presenting farm-to-table dining, using ingredients grown and sourced locally. Their delicious food is made to order and their menus have a seasonal focus. Diners of all ages can enjoy their a la carte menu, pub classics, elegant sharing boards, sunday roast’s and lunchtime sandwiches.
They have a wide selection of drinks available from two bars. Specialising in gin, they offer over 100 different options with 12 tonics for pairing, fine wines by the glass, constantly changing real ales, craft beer on draft and by the bottle as well as a wide range of other spirits. For those that fancy something non-alcoholic, they have a selection of locally sourced soft drinks. Their artisan coffee is also roasted locally.
After a long hard day of exploring the Cotswolds come back to The Maytime for a well earned rest. Their six luxurious en-suite bedrooms come with Hypnos beds, 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, Noble Isle toiletries, homemade shortbread, tea and coffee making facilities and excellent WiFi access. Four of their bedrooms overlook their garden and courtyard areas and two are located at the front of the building looking out towards the tiny but picturesque village of Asthall. All rooms are on the ground floor.
Please note well behaved dogs are welcome in the pub and gardens, but not in their bedrooms.
With it’s medieval bridge and old stone houses, Burford is one of the prettiest towns in England.
