Step inside this 16th century Sussex pub and you will find oodles of charm, open fires, wooden beams and a wood panelled bar. Outside their beautiful garden, is a wonderful social space and in the summer months you can enjoy dishes cooked on the barbecue and in the wood fired oven.
They serve a delicious array of pub classics with modern and Mediterranean influences, using the finest, local ingredients. You can choose to eat in the rustic bar, or their restaurant which has white table linen and a more formal atmosphere.
They are also renowned for their eclectic wine list, which has over 120 award winning wines to choose from.
The Griffin have 13 bedrooms, each with their own style, personality and period charm. Four rooms are situated in the main part of the building, four in the coach house overlooking the garden, and a further five in Griffin House which is next door to the pub.
Each en-suite bedroom comes with original pieces of furniture, quirky touches, colourful fabrics, the finest bed linen, fluffy towels, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi access. Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement.
Fletching lies two miles east of the west Sussex border and is 13 miles south east of Crawley.
