The Feathered Nest started life 350 years ago as a malt house and was later converted into a traditional Cotswolds pub which to this day remains the heart of the village.
This pub has a fantastic reputation as a food destination and is one of the best places to eat in The Cotswolds. Their delicious menus change regularly, include a selection of specials and are prepared using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
They also offer classic English afternoon tea with a range of homemade sandwiches, cakes, scones and treats. Expect a wonderfully eclectic choice of wines too, which their sommelier has handpicked from both the Old and New World. They typically also have around 25 wines to choose from by the glass.
There are four gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, each coming with luxury bathrobes, super soft towels, fine English linen, Bramley toiletries, a TV, Robert’s radio and superfast WiFi. You can also expect lovely touches such as homemade cookies, a Nespresso machine, complimentary water, English teas and a decanter of Taylors Port.
Sitting high on a hill their large garden and dining terrace look out over the Evenlode Valley.
