The Ellerby Country Inn is a lovely and relaxing place to stay and their ethos is that all guests leave feeling refreshed, well-fed, rested and wanting to return. They have an excellent reputation for food and drink which is served in their busy and vibrant restaurant using fresh, locally sourced produce whenever possible.
Most of their ten bedrooms are situated in a cottage and decorated to a high standard, each with an en-suite bathroom. Seven bedrooms have superking size beds and three have king size beds. These rooms are equipped with a whole host of little luxuries including flat screen TVs with Sky, fridges with fresh milk and mineral water and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have waffle bathrobes and slippers, free calls, hairdryers and complimentary luxury toiletries. Three of their bedrooms are dog-friendly and a fourth has fully disabled access.
This pub is ideally situated within easy access of some of the country’s most spectacular coastline, with numerous beautiful walks in Captain Cook country including The Cleveland Way. The coastline is also known as the Dinosaur Coast and is renowned for geological gems like Port Mulgrave, Runswick Bay and Staithes which are all on their doorstep.
