The rooms at The Dovecote Inn retain their original beams and the king rooms are approached up a small flight of wooden steps. The Maid Marion and Robin Hood en-suite rooms have king size beds and rain forest walk in showers and overlook the orchard.
Laxton is a village absolutely steeped in history. It is the last remaining strip farming estate in Britain. The village has the remains of a Norman motte and bailey castle (Laxton Castle) and is also the site of the Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre. Nottingham city centre is also just 25 miles from the pub.
