The pub offers a well-crafted menu full of tasty food at affordable prices. Complemented by the substantial cocktail menu, guests have plenty of choice when it comes to dining. The Crown has a bright and spacious Wetherspoons restaurant and there is also a hearty breakfast menu available for guests to enjoy after a peaceful night’s sleep.
The Crown’s rooms still feature the twisted wooden beams that retain much of the building’s original charm, while adding in some modern touches to cater for families and business or leisure guests. All of the pub’s 18 en-suite bedrooms include Freeview TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and unlimited wifi.
The pub is in the pedestrianised centre of Worcester, so there is no onsite parking. However, there are public parking areas nearby. Wetherspoons also have a no pet policy.
The ancient city of Worcester has much to explore, with The Crown’s prime location in the centre a brilliant base to do so. The cathedral is a seven-minute walk and Worcester Racecourse is just over 10 minutes walking from the pub. Worcester is served by two train stations, with Worcester Foregate Street the closest to The Crown, just six minutes away on foot.
