This pub has four different dining areas, each with their own log fire and style. Their kitchen team offers a range of home cooked traditional and modern pub classics and in the summer you can enjoy al fresco dining under the old vine on their sun terrace.

The large English oak bar offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind and in their garden room you will find some sofas and comfy chairs plonked by the fire on which to relax. Dogs are most welcome in the bar and garden room. They also offer a range of Cask Marque approved real ales and lagers and a fantastic wine list.

Their menus are locally sourced and change with the seasons, and always contain modern and traditional dishes. They use local ingredients where possible ensuring the best produce, some of which is grown in their own garden.

Their 10 spacious ground floor rooms are situated around the tastefully converted courtyard and all have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. A proper home cooked breakfast always awaits those who stay, served in the main house, or in your room. You can choose from a traditional full English to smoked haddock and poached eggs. Your dogs are welcome to stay for a small additional charge.

They have two tennis courts on site which are free to use and there are a range of swimming pools and leisure centres nearby.
