Ash and Abi welcome you to The Methuen Arms, an award winning Great British inn where hospitality meets fabulous food & drink at a relaxed pace.

Set immediately beside the stately home and beautiful grounds of Corsham Court, and just eight miles from the enchanting city of Bath, Corsham is a hidden gem of charming Georgian buildings, cobbled streets, Almshouses, parkland and more, making this historic market town a must-see place to visit and stay.

They are very pleased to welcome award-winning Head Chef Leigh Evans, formerly of Combe Grove Manor, The Chequers and The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath. Leigh Evans has built a team dedicated to finding the best local food representing the area, serving up great food combinations & taste driven dishes. He has a nose to tail philosophy to menu design, which works well with both simple pub fayre and more complex dishes. Everything is made on site, so he can be very flexible, and will personalise dishes around any diet & allergy requirements you may have.

Leigh’s love of food vibrates through the kitchen and front of house to the guests, and The Methuen Arms will continue to be a lovely neighbourhood restaurant, well established on the ‘foodie’ radar. They serve food every day of the week, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and are open all day for tea, coffee and delicious homemade biscuits & pastries.

The inn boasts 19 bedrooms, all set to a 5-AA-Star standard, and tastefully designed to be in keeping with the age of the building. Boasting exposed beams and large Georgian windows, with Farrow & Ball colours and comfy armchairs, all rooms are en-suite, with a flatscreen television, old school Roberts DAB radio, mini fridge and tea & coffee making facilities.

You can be assured of a dreamy night’s sleep wrapped in the 100% Egyptian cotton linen, with luxurious blankets and feather pillows, and enjoy relaxation in your spacious bathroom stocked with Bramley toiletries, luxurious towels & dressing gowns. Breakfast includes the option for a full English, and a selection of homemade granola, cereal, fruits & pastries, juices, jams, yoghurts and much more.
