This chic, coastal pub retreat is family friendly and dogs are welcome too. Characterful décor, the perfect place to dine and contemporary accommodation with stunning views; they’re ideally situated for lazy beach days, local coastal walks or simply relaxing on the terrace with a good book, this is how holidays should be.

The relaxed bed and breakfast is dog friendly too so it’s ideal for all the family! Unwind on the sea view decking in the sunshine or enjoy the modern bar and restaurant, the ideal place to eat. The attractive bedrooms are stylish and elegant with sea views and seriously comfortable Vi-Spring beds, perfect after exploring the local coastal paths or simply enjoying a classically British day at the beach! Room prices includes a lovely full English breakfast.

The Hope and Anchor is the ideal place to eat in Hope Cove. The friendly pub has traditional features and a suntrap terrace overlooking a sandy beach offering locally sourced, quality food. Dine on the decking, the upstairs area complete with contemporary design and impressive views or the pub watching the action unfold in our theatre style kitchen. Mussels, devilled whitebait and fresh lobster or crab, they serve seafood fresh from the sea, just metres away!

Hope Cove is the perfect destination for a family getaway. The Hope and Anchor has three family rooms with partial sea views: Two family rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed and one family room with 1 double and 3 single beds. Room facilities: en-suite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. The rooms can accommodate children under 16 - there is an additional charge of up to £20 per night per child. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

From Exeter: Take the A38 (Devon Express Way) to Buckfastleigh and come off on the A384, the exit marked Kingsbridge. This will take you via Totnes. Follow signs for Kingsbridge (A381).From Kingsbridge stay on A381 towards Salcombe. After approximately 2.5 miles turn right for Hope Cove.
 

From Plymouth: Follow the A379 for Kingsbridge until sign for Salcombe (after Averton Gifford bypass). Take the B 3197 which will connect to the A381. After approximately 2 miles turn right for Hope Cove.
