Welcome to The Old Inn, a traditional thatched pub set in the picturesque village of Mullion on the spectacular Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, the most southerly point of mainland Britain.

Steeped in history and at the heart of village life, The Old Inn has provided food and respite to weary travellers since the 16th century. Today, you will receive a warm welcome from manager Sara Liddle Jenkins, enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, fine locally-sourced produce - sumptuous cooked food and meals, plus comfortable en-suite accommodation. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the pub.

They make brilliant 'proper' pie & they are the home of the best god damn scotch eggs! The head chef is Rebecca Carlisle - her Mussels are a must! They try to cater and provide an interesting menu for vegetarians & coeliacs.

All meat and fish is sourced locally. Meat comes from local Mullion butchers, just down the road. Fresh Fish and seafood specialist based in St Ives - Matthew Stevens are the suppliers. Vegetables are also locally sourced in Cornwall and seasonal. Cheeses including the Cornish Yarg - traditional Cornish cheese wrapped in nettles.

The inn also holds the prestigious Cask Marque reflecting the care they take of the beer and cellar. The classic Gin and Tonic is always popular, they are promoting the fantastic Fever Tree tonic as an excellent accompaniment. The extensive wine list has plenty of choice and with the ideal wine to complement the varied menu.

With five large, en-suite bedrooms all individually furnished, The Old Inn at Mullion, makes the ideal Cornish retreat for a comfortable, relaxing break near the coast. They have three double bedrooms and two twin rooms. Rooms 1 and 3 have a double and single beds, so can accommodate three persons. At the Old Inn at Mullion they welcome single travellers, with competitive rates offered, please call or email them to enquire. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as long as they stay in their own beds!
