This is an article from Wales Online – it can be viewed here. These places to stay are close to beaches so you can enjoy the food and drink then wake up to great scenery. Find a great British coastal pub near the beach and it’s an added bonus when you can stay over.

It means you can drink without worrying about driving home and you can enjoy the seaside view all over again in the morning.

While there are scores of pubs with rooms in Wales these ones close to beaches really caught our eye:

The Ship Inn, Tresaith

Just a stone’s throw from Tresaith beach, the Ship Inn has a heated terrace ideal for dolphin-spotting while enjoying a drink or bite to eat. The menu focuses on fresh seafood sourced locally, while a range of cask ales and wines are also on offer. And look, at the view! All four bedrooms have fabulous views of the sea.
