All the team offer a very warm welcome to those who visit this quaint area of the New Forest Inn, with all its country charm and atmosphere. With ponies ambling past the front door, as well as donkeys, cows and pigs, it is one of the most enchanting places in the South. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, homemade and locally sourced for their main menu and specials board.

Attentive service is complimented with local real ales, fine wines, that have been chosen to accompany the fresh food menu and are available by the glass, the carafe and of course the bottle. There are two real log fires which are lit as soon as the cooler evenings approach, right the way through to the warmth of the spring sunshine. With three separate areas to choose to sit – there are areas for a cosy meal, a family gathering and even a function area that seats over 40 for meetings, parties and celebrations.
They boast four letting rooms. All the bedrooms are a little bit quirky in their own way – but that is a part of the charm of staying in a country pub. They are all located on the first floor and have 24 hour separate access. The rooms feature a desk, CD and DVD player, free WiFi, hairdryer, Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh towels and linen and complementary water. They know that many people love to bring their pets to the forest. For this reason all 4 of the rooms are pet friendly. Breakfast is included in the room price.
