Located in the West Midlands, Staffordshire is home to two major theme parks, Alton Towers and Drayton Manor, as well as a host of family friendly attractions to visit. There is no shortage of things to do and places to visit whilst in the county, making it a wonderful place to go with the whole family.

Alton Towers is the UK’s biggest theme park and comprises a theme park, water park, mini golf, hotel and spa. The huge resort has been attracting visitors for years, not just for the day of thrill-seeking, but also to because of the Resort’s magically themed hotels located on site. The Alton Towers Resort is set in over 500 acres of Stunning Staffordshire countryside.

For those who prefer to be around more tranquil surroundings, there are various long distance walks and trails that take you all around the countryside of Staffordshire.  Discover the beauty of The National Forest, a natural playground for outdoor pursuits. Everything from walking, cycling, horse riding to sailing on the various rivers and lakes, there is an abundance of activities to do whilst in the National Forest.

Trentham Estate in Stoke-on-Trent, is a nice day out for all the family as it comprises award-winning gardens, a shopping district and places to eat and drink. The Trentham Shopping Village has an array of shops, cafes and restaurants.
