 Tourists flock to visit Herefordshire, home to the Malvern Hills, the Black Mountains and River Wye,. The county is a haven for walkers, cyclists and those looking to explore the countryside. Located on the border of England and Wales, Herefordshire boasts picturesque countryside and quaint market towns.
The county is home to areas of outstanding natural beauty through verdant woodland, forest and valleys.  Explore the state rooms at Eastnor Castle, which is surrounded by picturesque grounds and a magnificent lake.  Dedicated walking routes and set trails allow visitors to explore the grounds, whilst allowing them to discover stunning views of the landscape.
The impressive Hereford Cathedral is a beautiful building worth visiting whilst in the region.  The Cathedral boasts art and architecture from Norman times to the present day, including the famous Mappa Mundi, the medieval Chained Library and the Hereford Magna Carta.
Experienced ramblers will enjoy a walk along The Mortimer Trail, a 30 mile trail which runs along the Welsh border to the medieval town of Ludlow.  The trail follows the high ground with stunning views to the Black Mountains and the Malvern Hills.  Food is one of the main highlights on The Mortimer Trail as ramblers can stop off at delightful pubs with rooms and traditional style inns serving delicious Michelin star food using local produce.
