At the Corris Mine visitors can explore an old abandoned slate mine and learn about 130 years of mining history. Another great underground attraction is the Llechwedd Slate Caverns. As well as exploring the caverns visitors can take to two wheels and explore the mountain biking trails on offer, plus try out ziplining and giant trampolining. Or if you want to see one of Wales’s many castles head to Bodelwyddan Castle where you can see collections from three national museums and as well explore the extensive grounds.
