Stirling is a great place to go if you are a keen angler, there are lots of fishing spots in the National Park, as well as a string of trout lochs in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.  Traditional Scottish boat fishing for trout is available in majestic surroundings.

If you are into your history, you can discover more about Scotland’s vibrant past with a visit to the battleground of Bannockburn. Cared for by the National Trust, The Battle of Bannockburn experience allows visitors to relive the action with cutting-edge 3D technology. Outside, you can explore and admire the restored commemorative monuments, including the statue of Robert the Bruce.
