Visit Fife and St Andrews

Situated on the east coast of Scotland, visit Fife and St Andrews as it is home to sandy beaches, picturesque fishing villages, rolling hills and meadows. If you want to get outdoors on your next holiday, then this is the place to visit.

Steeped in history and once the ancestral home of Scottish monarchs, Fife has several different regions.  In Dunfermline, the once ancient capital of Scotland, there are many historical buildings worth exploring, such as the royal palace, a 12th century abbey and the restored 15th century Abbot House.

St Andrews is most famous for being the home of golf and its 600 year old course, which is perhaps the most renowned golf course in the world.  Fife boasts more than 40 courses, from the classic fairways at St Andrews to traditional seaside links and heathland courses suitable for golfers of all levels.

But it’s not just golf that is on offer in Fife. Visitors can walk along the magnificent coastline on the 115 mile Fife Coastal Path. The path stretches from south to north Fife, and walkers can stop off at charming fishing villages for a bit to eat. For those who prefer to travel by bike, there are over 300 miles of cycle routes on offer in the region.
