Built around 1864, The Foxglove was originally known as the Railway Junction Inn, due to the anticipation of a proposal in 1864 to construct a railway extension from Barnsley to a junction with the London and North West Railway. During the 1930’s the inn was known as The Three Owls. In 2000 it became The Foxglove. Now, they also have the Innkeeper’s Lodge Huddersfield alongside, providing stylish and cosy accommodation for guests.
The seasonal food menus are full of delicious hearty dishes such as slow-cooked lamb shank, steak & mushroom pie, and their infamous Hunter’s chicken. And to complement the delightful pub food, they’ve a wonderful array of fine wines, real ales, soft drinks and spirits for you to enjoy. So whether it’s dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, they are the perfect spot to spend some quality time with those you love the most.
