Exmoor National Park

Exmoor National Park in west Somerset and north Devon, is a beautiful area of wild moorland, woodland, coast and river valleys. There is a coastal path that gives spectacular views of the sea out to sea from the highest cliffs in England.  Whether you are an experienced walker, or prefer a gentle stroll, Exmoor National Park provides the ideal place to explore the outdoors on foot.

Fishing is a popular activity in Exmoor National Park, due to the abundant wildlife and clean water.  Whilst you need a permit for river and reservoir fishing, anglers can go fishing for free off the stunning Exmoor coastline. Cod, bass, whiting, conger and skate have all been caught off the coast of Exmoor.

Exmoor National Park is not just wilderness, it is also a living and working landscape with many small villages and ancient settlements dotted around the Park. Luccombe, Exford, Parracombe, Chapman Barrows, Culbone and Monksilver are just some of the many quaint hamlets and villages located in the area.
