Join us from 1-14 August 2015 and hear great music played by world masters in the renowned beauty of the Lake District. Historic churches and halls in busy market towns offer the perfect setting for chamber music and orchestral concerts, recitals, music theatre, jazz, vocal works, pre-concert talks, and more. Enjoy opera and ballet relayed from the great opera houses in the charming and intimate Fellini’s Arts Cinema in Ambleside.

An international community grows overnight as Festival Artists and Academy students take up residence at Brathay Hall on the shores of Lake Windermere. Young musicians on the brink of their careers acquire invaluable guidance and training with Festival Artists in a demanding daily schedule of individual lessons, ensemble coaching and classes. Visit us at Brathay for inspirational masterclasses; hear rising new generation artists in designated Festival concerts.
