Details

The Star Inn is a beautifully maintained 15th century family run coaching inn situated in the market town of Pershore on the banks of the River Avon.

The pub is made up of a stunning refurbished bar and snug with welcoming open fires through the cold winter months. The restaurant is all about the food, supported by the many cookbooks that sit on the sideboard for diners to read. These are complimented by a few of Chefs awards and achievements which are proudly on display.

The Star Inn offers a fantastic dining experience where you can sample fine dining at its best, establishing itself as a venue that offers high quality food. Chef Proprietor Bruce Lawrence, a Federation of Master Chefs member, and his team serve a range of quality dishes using locally sourced produce and ingredients. Like so many things, their philosophy is "food is best kept simple but done well". The atmosphere and service is friendly and informal and they serve a selection of local beers, a choice of continental lagers and an eclectic mix of great wines.

The pub has a wonderful sun terrace where you can enjoy drinks or your dining experience and their riverside beer garden backs onto the River Avon.

The Star Inn has four recently refurbished double en-suite bedrooms on the first floor of the pub. Each comfortable bedroom has fresh linen and towels, toiletries, TV, WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdyer. Your stay includes a fabulous breakfast and dogs are most welcome.

Whether it is the Sun Terrace or Riverside Beer Garden which makes the most of the British summer or the roaring log fires and cosy corners to warm you up, you are sure to receive a warm welcome. This pub serves excellent food, has attentive staff and all in a relaxed atmosphere.
