A traditional coaching inn dating back to 1483 in the heart of Warminster. On a fine evening you can enjoy a drink and a meal al-fresco style in the courtyard - the perfect place to unwind. We have a separate relaxed restaurant and bustling bar area but can also host private functions including weddings in our 150 Capacity Function upon request.

Relax and unwind in one of our 15 ensuite bedrooms comprising of 2 singles, 2 family (sleeps up to 5) and 11 double rooms. Enjoy one of our hearty breakfasts made with fresh local produce and served in our courtyard restaurant. With the added benefit of free parking, easy access to Longleat and surrounding areas and a wealth of beautiful countryside on your doorstep we are the perfect base for any trip!

Breakfast; is served in the Courtyard Restaurant. We offer a full traditional English breakfast or a lighter breakfast if preferred. The breakfast times are: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.00am | Saturday & Sunday 8.00am - 9.00am

Please be aware that on a Friday and Saturday night we have a late license with disco till 2am. The Pub is the busiest in the area and will be noisy until close. If you are planning on booking a room on a Friday or Saturday night please bear this in mind.

The Old Bell Inn is situated in the centre of Warminster.

From Bath

Take the A36 towards Warminster and follow it to Bath Road/B3414. Then turn right on Warminster Road and continue to follow the A36. Next go through two roundabouts. Then at the next roundabout take the exit on Bath Road and continue to follow the B3414. Finally go through 3 roundabouts and The Old Bell will be on the right.


From London (100 miles)

Head on the M4 following signs for Airport/The West/Staines/Hounslow. At junction 4B take M25 South exit to M3/M23/Heathrow Airpot/Gatwick Airport.

Merge onto the M25. At junction 12 exit onto the M3 towards Southampton. At junction 8, exit onto the A303 towards Sailsbury/Andover.

Go through 2 roundabouts and then merge onto the A36 via the ramp Warminster/Andover/A303. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the B3414.

Finally go through two roundabouts and The Old Bell Inn will be on the left.
