Recently voted "Pub of the year" 2011/12 and newly refurbished you can now enjoy dinning in our separate restaurant. Whilst enjoying the log burning stoves, ideal for those cosy winter evenings.

You can also enjoy a meal or bar snack in the relaxing bar area or if the weather is fine and warm our lovely fenced beer garden which is ideal for small children and well behaved dogs on a lead.

Our menu has a wide choice of foods to choose from. Which you will find has something to suit everybody's tastes and appetite. From Fillet, Sirloin or Gammon Steaks, Cumberland Sausage, Fresh Giant peroni battered Haddock and Chip, fresh Salmon to Curries, we also have a Vegetarian, Snack, Sandwich and mid week "Mature" menu to choose from.

Homemade chips, new or mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables or fresh crisp salad are served with all main meals. All our meats and fish are sourced locally, and a large percentage of the food on the menu is home cooked to a very high standard.

Enjoy any one of our 4 hand pulled real ales. A nice experience for any true ale connoisseur! Or perhaps chose a bottle of our reasonably priced wines.

All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV's and a full English breakfast is included in the price of the room.
