The Dog & Partridge Hotel by Good Night Inns also has a Chef & Brewer restaurant serving quality food throughout the day and evening.

Alton Towers, Uttoxeter Races, Ashbourne and the Peak District are within easy reach, and Tutbury itself has much to offer, with many attractive Georgian and Regency buildings, fine antique and gift shops and the ruins of medieval Tutbury castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. The park at Tutbury Mill, perched on the River Dove, is particularly scenic for picnicking and riverside walks.
