Four hundred year old coaching inn with delicious, traditional food with a contemporary twist, real ales and stylish rooms to stay.
We have six comfortable and individually furnished and decorated rooms at the Rock Inn, all of them with private bath and shower facilities.
We are not a hotel but a traditional inn and that’s the style you can look forward to. Accommodation is traditional, some rooms with wooden beds, some with iron but all with great country style and all very comfortable - there are even flat screen TVs with a range of digital channels and, where space permits, a comfortable armchair from which to view.
All rooms are doubles and we also have an option for a twin or with additional single bed for accompanying family.
The rooms were all refurbished in the spring of 2010 and baths and shower equipment are all to the highest standards. Check our tariff page for winter break deal.
Scrubbed tables, an open fire and a chalk board menu offer a more modern approach to dining here at The Rock Inn. Our philosophy is to dispense with the set restaurant format and have a more relaxed service and content meal experience, choose from our dishes, starters also make light meals for Lunch or add a homemade pudding for a light Supper. Our Restaurant offers a dog free room with a country feel.
Special dietary requirements catered for, please enquire. Credit cards accepted - not American Express.
Dogs are allowed in two of the rooms and in the bar, as long as they are on a lead. Dogs are very welcome to stay at The Rock Inn and we make a charge of £10 for dogs staying in a room.
Street parking is also available.
Nearby there are many attractions to visit too, including the Wimbleball Lake, the Resevoir, Castles and much more.
