The Boat House is an informal riverside pub ideal to meet, eat, drink, chat and stay in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We have 9 individual well appointed guest bedrooms, many with balconies overlooking the beautiful river and gardens. Parking is free on site, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Guests also benefit from members rates green fees at a local golf club (subject to availability and advance booking).

Food & Drink

Join us at the Boathouse! We offer an informal atmosphere, in which to relax and enjoy your visit as well as a wide range of freshly prepared food from a regularly changing menu. Whether you’re after a leisurely lunch, a quick snack or dinner with friends, just take a seat anywhere and enjoy the atmosphere.

We’re very proud of our beers, we have a selection of real ales on offer as well as continental beers. These include our very own cask ale, Boathouse Bitter - brewed especially for us. There's also an excellent selection of wines carefully selected to offer great and reliable quality at reasonable prices.

We have a delicious range of seasonal serves including cocktails and alcoholic warm drinks perfect for the time of year!
