The Bowl Inn is an historic inn offering superb accommodation, excellent food, fine wines and real ales. Whether on business or pleasure we will ensure your stay is most enjoyable.

 Each comfortable room has been individually furnished to complement the original architectural features uncovered during the restoration of the upper floor. Huge ceiling beams, stonework niches and fireplaces have been revealed and skillfully restored to make each room unique.

Every room is en-suite and equipped with a telephone, tea and coffee-making facilities, television with Freeview, internet access and a hair dryer.

Food & Drink

The bar area is a true reflection of the great British pub.

We’re very proud of our beers, we have a selection of real ales on offer as well as continental beers. These include our very own cask ale, The Bowl Inn Traditional Ale - brewed especially for us. There's also an excellent selection of wines carefully selected to offer great and reliable quality at reasonable prices.

At the Bowl we offer an informal atmosphere, in which to relax and enjoy your visit. We offer a wide range of freshly prepared food ranging from baguettes to great steaks and from fresh fish to pasta. We aim to always offer consistent quality and value for money.

Children’s menus are always available. As in the restaurant, our twin aims are consistent quality and value for money. We are able to offer 6 cask ales, and there's an excellent selection of wines by the glass.

Food is available at the following times;

Monday to Thursday: 12noon – 2:30pm / 6pm - 9.30pm
Friday: 12noon - 2:30pm / 5pm - 9:30pm
Saturday: 12noon – 9:30pm
