First licensed in 1642, it is Bishop's Castle oldest licensed premises. Built as a Coaching Inn to service the Bishop's residence.

Home cooked hearty food! Serverd 12pm - 9pm, all day every day! Vegetarian and gluten free options also available and low calorie meals. Sit by our woodburning stove. Relax and enjoy one of our excellent Real Ales, Continetal Beers & well kept Wines. Surrounded by character and greeted with a smile. The rooms are in a converted barn by the pub, with all 3 of the rooms having disabled access. Visa, Mastercard and Visa Debit accepted.
